  1. Calendar and Time

One year consisted of 51 weeks, totaling 357 days. One day consisted of 24 hours. One hour consisted of 60 minutes. One minute consisted of 60 seconds.

One year was divided into 12 months. Winter comprised months 12, 1, and 2; spring comprised months 3, 4, and 5; summer comprised months 6, 7, and 8; and autumn comprised months 9, 10, and 11.

A month consisted of either 29 or 30 days. Summer, with its long days, lasted 29 days for each of its three months, while the other months consisted of 30 days.

Furthermore, one second on modern Earth was not necessarily equivalent to one second in this world. This was because the internal clock of the summoned Jin had already adapted to this world’s rhythm. The same applied to units like meters and kilograms; they may not have been identical to their modern Earth counterparts.

The moon in this world did not wax or wane; consequently, it served as a clock for the night. Sundials were used during the day.

A circle was divided into 360 degrees. This was chosen as a clean, rounded number close to the 357 days of the year.

  1. Currency and Market Rates

Toll: The common currency shared by all nations. One Toll was worth approximately ten yen. A single copper coin was 1 Toll (10 yen), a silver coin was 100 Toll (1,000 yen), and a gold coin was 10,000 Toll (100,000 yen).

Coinage: Common to the Lesser States, the Shouro Empire, Mitsuho, Fuso, Kunlun Island, and the Principality. The obverse design for all coins was the Drei Schwert.

Gold Coin: Approximately 25 millimeters in diameter and 2 millimeters thick (a volume of approximately 1 cubic centimeter). It was composed of 75% gold, 15% silver, and 10% copper (18K), weighing approximately 20 grams. The reverse featured the profile of the Goddess within the sun.

Silver Coin: Approximately 25 millimeters in diameter and 2 millimeters thick (a volume of approximately 1 cubic centimeter). It was composed of 90% silver and 10% copper (coin silver), weighing approximately 10 grams. The reverse featured nine stars and the profile of the Goddess.

Copper Coin: Approximately 25 millimeters in diameter and 1.2 millimeters thick (a volume of approximately 0.83 cubic centimeters). It was composed of 95% copper and 5% tin (bronze), weighing approximately 5 grams. This was the only coin with a thickness of only 1.2 millimeters. The reverse featured ears of wheat and the profile of the Goddess.

Crystal Coin: Approximately 50 millimeters in diameter and 3 millimeters thick (a volume of approximately 6 cubic centimeters). These were special coins made of all-attribute magi-crystal, weighing approximately 20 grams. The reverse featured a lily and the profile of the Goddess. Each coin was worth 10,000,000 Toll (100 million yen). These were intended for savings and did not actually circulate.

Wheat (with husk) was about 80 Toll per kilogram (800 yen). Barley (with husk) was about 90 Toll per kilogram (900 yen). Popcorn maize was 50 Toll per kilogram (500 yen). *Food was slightly more expensive than on modern Earth.

Bronze: 2,000 to 3,000 Toll per kilogram. Copper: 1,800 to 2,700 Toll per kilogram. *Copper was surprisingly cheap, as native copper appeared to be quite abundant.

Iron: 5,000 to 7,000 Toll per kilogram. Silver: 40 to 60 Toll per gram. Gold: 100 to 500 Toll per gram. *In contrast to native gold, silver, and copper, iron was relatively expensive because it required refining.

Light silver: 2,000 to 3,000 Toll per gram (2,000,000 to 3,000,000 Toll per kilogram). Mithril: 4,000 to 5,000 Toll per gram (4,000,000 to 5,000,000 Toll per kilogram). Adamantite: 7,000 to 10,000 Toll per gram (7,000,000 to 10,000,000 Toll per kilogram). *Rare metals were extraordinarily expensive not only due to limited yields, but also because mining and refining them was a difficult task that only certain magi could perform. For example, adamantite ore was so hard that it could not be excavated with ordinary tools.

Magi-stone: 1,000 to 5,000 Toll per korot. Magi-crystal: 10,000 to 1,000,000 Toll per korot. *One korot was approximately 1 gram, roughly a 6-millimeter sphere.

Diameter: approx. 2,400 km. Radius: approx. 1,200 km. One degree on a map: approx. 20 km. Mass: approx. 5.9E24 kg (nearly the same as Earth). Orbital period: approx. 357 days. Rotation period: approx. 24 hours. Axial tilt: approx. 16.5 degrees.

  1. Uni (The Moon)

Uni was approximately half the size of Earth's moon.

Diameter: approx. 1,700 km. Radius: approx. 850 km. Mass: Unknown. Orbital (?) radius relative to Ars: approx. 380,000 km. *Because Uni was always positioned directly opposite the sun, Celane, it could be considered a planet in its own right rather than a satellite of Ars.

  1. Hale

Hale was nearly identical to Earth.

Diameter: approx. 12,700 km. Radius: approx. 6,350 km. Mass: 5.972E24 kg. Axial tilt: 16.5 degrees.
