She mentioned having visited places where biomechanical life forms existed, much like the intricate dragon model Lilia-san had received as a reward from Machina-san.
"There really are so many different worlds," I remarked. "Do the Gods of World Creation decide exactly what kind of world they're going to build?"
"Hmm, it really varies," Canaris replied. "For example, this world—the one created by Shallow Vernal—reflects her personal intentions quite strongly. It seems she modeled it after a world she used as a reference and then fine-tuned every detail. Since this world is relatively small, it probably makes it easier for her to micromanage those details."
"That reminds me, Machina-san—or rather, the God of my old world—said something similar," I said. "She mentioned this world was too small for her to manifest her main body without significant restrictions."
"Machina... Ah, the Machine God. Her scale of existence is massive, even among Creator Gods, so bringing her true self here would indeed be an ordeal. I see. As a veteran traveler, she had learned how to scale her presence down to avoid harming smaller worlds like Trinia—granted, small only by the standards of a God of World Creation.
"Oops, we got off-track," she continued. "Anyway, while there are Gods like Shallow Vernal who oversee every detail, there are also those who just leave a world alone after creating it. Billions of years later, they’ll take a look and go, 'Huh? Was it always like this?' Among those types, there are even some who decide a world isn't to their liking after seeing it for the first time in an eon, so they destroy it and start over. It's the height of irresponsibility. It really depends on the individual."
"In fiction, I get the image of those kinds of Gods being defeated by the residents of the world they created."
"That happens too," Canaris said. "We're all grouped together as 'Gods of World Creation,' but our abilities differ. Some might be talented at the act of creation but aren't actually that powerful—nowhere near the Quasi-Almighty Class. They do get overthrown. Then there are those who start a purge on a whim, but then feel guilty or bored once they see the residents fighting back, so they 'play dead' and stop. Honestly, you have to wonder why they bothered creating a world in the first place. For all the grand titles, Gods are just... well, like that."
I got the sense that, from Canaris's perspective, there wasn't a fundamental difference between Gods and mortals, aside from the vast gap in power. Perhaps that was why she was so friendly and easy to talk to, despite being an Almighty God.
"How should I put it... hearing those stories makes me feel like you're a truly kind person," I said. "It's hard to describe, but it makes me happy."

With the store opening schedule mostly set, the day Canaris would begin her activities in earnest as the representative of the Black Tea Brand was drawing near. Actually, she was already working incredibly hard, but the amazing thing was that none of this required even a fraction of her full effort.
