Founding Festival Afternoon with Shallow Vernal Part 5

Normally, the person performing a wall slam is supposed to be the one in control. In fact, I likely did hold the lead. Shiro-san was in a "waiting" stance, offering no instructions or guidance on how I should proceed. She had made it clear that I was free to do whatever I pleased.

Despite my confusion over this unfamiliar territory, I relied on what little I knew from manga and dramas. I placed my free hand against Shiro-san’s cheek and leaned in close, peering into her face.

Was this actually okay? Wasn't this the kind of move reserved strictly for the conventionally attractive? I worried I was making a fool of myself, but since no one was around to witness it, I pushed the anxiety down and spoke.

"Seeing you this close... you really are stunning, Shiro-san. Your skin is so white it's almost translucent, and those golden eyes of yours... I feel like I could be swallowed by them. Just looking at you makes a profound sense of affection well up inside me."

Was that good enough? Given the situation, I was supposed to be wooing her, wasn't I? I was so embarrassed I could hardly stand it; the mere memory of this would probably make me writhe in agony once I got back home.

Plus, rather than being forceful, hadn't I just sounded cheesy? And since Shiro-san could read minds, was there even any point in acting composed while panicking so much on the inside? Whatever. I would just have to push through with momentum.

Perhaps it was the panic, but out of sheer desperation, I pressed my lips against Shiro-san's. Since I was the taller one now, I loomed over her, pinning her from above. I feared I might have been a bit too forceful.

I kept my lips pressed deeply against hers, and after a passionate kiss, I slowly pulled away. My hand remained on her cheek, and Shiro-san gazed back at me with those beautiful golden eyes.

My heart was pounding so loudly it was almost noisy, and I felt as though my body were on fire. Between the unusual situation and my lingering panic, I felt like I was drifting in a feverish haze.

We gazed at each other without a word. As my thoughts gradually regained their composure, a sense of embarrassment welled up within me. But before my mind could fully settle, Shiro-san spoke, her cheeks faintly flushed.

"...This is wonderful, and it makes me quite happy. Kaito-san, more kisses, please. Rough ones, gentle ones... I love them both. Fortunately, we are all alone right now, and we have all the time in the world. So, please... more."

"...In the end, I'm not even sure if I'm the one taking the lead anymore. Well, I suppose I can think about that later."

Asking for seconds at a time like this was truly unfair—her timing was just too perfect. Naturally, I couldn't resist. Not that there was any need to resist in the first place. I pressed my lips against Shiro-san's once more.

Given the wall slam setup, I was supposed to be the one with the initiative, and I was indeed the one initiating the kisses. Shiro-san seemed content to simply receive them.

Even so, for some reason, I felt as though I were being played like a fiddle in the palm of her hand. Then again, I didn't mind. I was overwhelmed by a deep sense of happiness regardless.

I felt as though I could drown in this private time with Shiro-san, kissing for an eternity, but a calm part of my mind told me to take a breather before I truly lost all restraint.

(I wouldn't mind even if you lost control, you know?)

It was terrifying how easily she could drop such devastating lines. She was incredibly alluring, but we were still in the middle of our date for the Founding Anniversary Festival. I couldn't lose sight of the original plan.

I replied inwardly while continuing the kiss. To be honest, it was a close call. If I had stayed in that feverish state before regaining some composure, combined with the fact that we were alone, I really might have lost it.

Well, considering there had been a brief pause before Shiro-san spoke, she likely understood everything and waited for me to regain a bit of my senses before speaking up.

It might have just been my imagination, but it felt like a message—she didn't want me to just get swept away by the moment; she wanted me to desire her with a clear mind. Thinking about it only made my face heat up further.

???: "Huh? Where's Serious-senpai?"

Machina: "She turned into sugar over there."

???: "I see... So, what's that in your hand, Machina?"

Machina: "Sugar Toast! Do you want some too, ???"

???: "...Every time Serious-senpai undergoes a transformation, you choose to eat her immediately without a shred of hesitation or doubt. You really are quite far gone, aren't you..."

Machina: "Sugar Toast is delicious! The secret is to spread a bit extra butter on it."

???: "That's not what I'm talking about..."
