The place Roze-san guided me to was hard to believe it was inside a dungeon. Within the vast space, I could see what looked like a tower standing in the distance.
It reminded me of the room where I had stayed during the Six Kings Festival—the suite-style room that had been expanded with Space-Time Magic to include a blue sky and open grasslands. This area was likely expanded using similar magic.
"It’s incredibly spacious. And that tower... it feels like it’s been here for a very long time. I don't mean it looks like it’s falling apart, just that the architecture feels ancient."

(Uh-huh. It was her home back when she lived in the center of the Demon Realm. Roze wasn't around back then, but apparently, she lived there with all the other Six Kings-sama.)
I had heard stories about Kuro living with the other Kings in the past, but I was surprised to see that their old home had been preserved like this.
The tower was quite large, but even setting Magnawell-san aside, it looked like it would be a tight fit for someone as big as Megiddo-san to live in. Perhaps only a specific portion of the original house was being kept here.

"Are you the one managing it, Roze-san?"
(Yup! But there are so many rooms that I don't really use most of them. Roze only uses about two. All the other rooms are being kept under Preservation Magic!)
"So you've been entrusted with a place full of Kuro’s memories. You must be very reliable for them to give you such an important task."
(Ehehe, you think so? That makes me happy! Roze likes Kaito-kun because you always say such nice things.)
Roze-san hopped up and down on my shoulder in delight. She really was incredibly adorable. Feeling a sense of calm from her presence, I followed her guidance into the tower.
We eventually reached what appeared to be a large reception room. A row of mannequin-like dolls stood lined up against the wall, creating a somewhat eerie atmosphere.
(Since Kaito-kun is a human, Roze prepared human-style hospitality. Roze knows all about it! Mansions have maids lined up like this, don't they?)
"...I guess the Royal Palace does have that sort of image. So, these dolls are meant to be the maids?"
(Yup! And since they’re maids, I made sure to make them strong. Each one of them is about Baron-class!)
"That’s actually pretty amazing."
(Ehehe, Roze is really good at making Magical Dolls and golems. They help me manage the dungeon, too.)
I see. So the dolls were her version of a maid staff. Honestly, since they looked like faceless, clothesless mannequins, it was a little unsettling, but I couldn't bring myself to complain after Roze-san had worked so hard to prepare them for me.
Still, creating this many Magical Dolls with Peerage-class level strength was no small feat. It was clear why her name had come up as a candidate for Duke-class. Even without her Six Kings Golems, she was a powerhouse in her own right.
"You’re really impressive, Roze-san."

"Haha... Oh, that's right. I brought a souvenir for you. Do you like cake or pudding?"
(Pudding!? Cake! Roze loves them both! But I love pudding the most! It’s sweet and jiggly, and eating it makes me feel so happy!)
I had followed the advice to bring something sweet and picked up some treats from a Western Confectionery in the Kingdom of Sinfonia. It looked like that had been the perfect choice.
Judging by her excitement, pudding was definitely her favorite. Roze-san began spinning in little circles to show how thrilled she was.
"Well then, should we eat?"
(Yes! Oh, but I have to get the tea ready. Just a second!)
At Roze-san's command, the Maid (Temp) standing by the wall began to move, preparing black tea. In front of Roze-san, they placed a drink with a straw poked into a paper carton.
I pulled the pudding out of my Magic Box and set it down in front of her. Roze-san’s body swayed with joy.
(Pudding, pudding! It’s the taste of happiness!)
"Um, I have a spoon here, but is it too big for you?"
(It’s okay! Roze is an expert at eating.)
As she spoke, translucent, tentacle-like appendages extended from her body and took the spoon from me. She skillfully scooped up some pudding and thrust it directly into her jelly-like body. Right... she didn't have a mouth, so she had to absorb food directly like that.
The pudding inside her disappeared in an instant, and she swayed happily once more.

Just as I had suspected from the start, Roze-san was incredibly cute. Just talking to her like this felt like therapy. Wrapped in a cozy, relaxed atmosphere, I enjoyed tea with Roze-san for a while.
