I called out to the girl who appeared to be Tiltania, hoping to confirm her identity.
"Um, just to check—you're Tiltania-san, right?"
"Oh? You know about Til?"
"Yes, I read about you in Raz-san's letter."
"Is that so! Til heard all about Kaito-kun-san from Raz-sama, so we’re a matching pair!"
Til was roughly the same size as Raz. As the letter had mentioned, her clothing and style were almost identical to her predecessor's. With her blonde hair and slightly different wing shape, she looked like she could be Raz's sister. Her voice was a bit higher, giving her a more youthful air. Of course, she was still significantly older than I was...
"Let me introduce myself properly! I'm Tiltania. Just call me Til!"
"I'm Kaito Miyama. Nice to meet you, Til-san."
"The pleasure's all mine! I heard Kaito-kun-san lives in the Kingdom of Sinfonia. Are you here to see Lilliwood-sama today?"
"Ah, no. I came to visit one of Lilliwood-san's subordinates, a woman named Lilie-san."
Til's smile was bright and contagious. I found myself grinning back as I spoke.
"To see Lilie-sama? Come to think of it, people were saying Lilie-sama returned today."
"Yes. I'm actually making the rounds to visit all of the Seven Princesses."
"Is that right? Does that mean you're coming to Til's place too?"
"...Wait. You're one of the Seven Princesses, Til-san?"
"I am! People call me the Fairy Princess!"
I was surprised, yet it made sense. Erial—another of the Seven Princesses—had mentioned Til was a close friend. Given she was also the second-generation Fairy King, it stood to reason she would hold a high executive position. It had been a coincidence, but a very lucky one.
"Til-san, thank you for lending us your strength during the battle in the God Realm."
"Don't worry about it! Kaito-kun-san is Til's friend now. If you're ever in trouble, I'll always be there to help!"
"Thank you. That’s very reassuring."
"Ehehe."
She really was adorable. I could only imagine how healing it would be to see her and Raz together. I’d have to find a way to witness that someday. With that thought, I pulled a gift from my Magic Box. Considering her small size, the package was quite large.
"Um, this is a thank-you gift, but is it perhaps too big?"
"It's definitely big! But it's okay. Thank you!"
Til accepted the large box and immediately tucked it into her own Magic Box. She could always share it with friends, and since Raz had mentioned they could grow to the size of a human child if needed, the size wasn't really a problem.
Once the exchange was settled, I remembered something.
"By the way, you seemed to be in a rush earlier. Is everything okay?"
"Huh? Oh... AHHHHH! That's right! Til was in a hurry! Raz-sama is coming over to visit, so I have to get ready!"
"Raz-san is coming?"
"Yes! She's coming to see Til's field. Oh, I know! Kaito-kun-san, why don't you come too? It'll be fun!"
"Are you sure? I wouldn't want to intrude."
I didn't have anything else on my schedule. I could buy the jam some other time, and spending the afternoon with Raz and Til sounded genuinely pleasant. My only concern was being a nuisance, but Til beamed at me.
"It's fine! Til and Raz-sama will both be happy if Kaito-kun-san is there! Besides, Til just met you and wants to talk more!"
"I appreciate that. All right, I'll take you up on the offer."
"Yay! Let's go together!"
"By the way, what time is Raz-san arriving?"
"Oh, right! She's coming at three o'clock, so there are only ten minutes left!"
Seeing her start to panic, I pulled out my pocket watch. It read 1:50 PM.
"...Um, Til-san? It's only 1:50 right now."
"...Huh?"
Suspecting she’d mistaken the time, I showed her the watch. She stared at the face blankly for a second, then realization dawned.
"I-It's true! There's still over an hour left... I rushed back for nothing!"
"Aha... ahaha."
"But! Because of that, I got to meet Kaito-kun-san, so everything worked out!"
"I suppose it did."
Everything about her—from her gestures to her speech—was incredibly charming. I had a feeling things would get even more lively once Raz joined the group.
