Ch. 80

Chapter 80: Character Introduction 1

~ Protagonist

Erik

A Bronze Rank adventurer.

He left his village immediately after receiving his blessing ritual and traveled to the royal capital.

Having grown up doing household chores and various tasks around the village, he possesses a wide array of practical skills.

His specialty is cleaning.

He has a diligent and cautious personality.

~ Residents of the Royal Capital

Amanda

The landlady of the Fledgling Pavilion.

She runs the inn alongside her husband, Ted, and daughter, Anna.

She possesses a keen eye for people and has accurately spotted many adventurers who went on to achieve great success.

Her discerning eye is acknowledged even by the Adventurer's Guild.

Ted

The cook at the Fledgling Pavilion.

While his culinary skills are exceptional, he has a bit of pride as a chef.

That pride once created a rift between him and Reina.

Anna

The poster girl of the Fledgling Pavilion.

She is fifteen years old—five years older than Erik.

She claims to be good with numbers.

She mainly helps out around the inn, but is rather clumsy when it comes to cleaning.

She loves cute things.

Marina

A highly talented alchemist.

A resident of the royal capital whom Erik visited for a quest through Reina's introduction.

She lacks self-confidence and is shy around strangers.

Because she struggles with tidying up, she frequently puts out requests for household help.

Frank

The owner and chef of the Sparrow Diner.

He has a large, hearty build.

He is currently racking his brain over how to properly train his apprentices.

Harold

A blacksmith.

A blacksmith of the dwarf race.

He rented out a full set of equipment to Erik after Amanda introduced the boy to his shop.

Hannah

The wife of the head of the Starsia Company.

She first met Erik through a household chore request, and they have crossed paths frequently on similar jobs ever since.

She is close enough with Marina to meet up with her in private.

Sara

A cafe manager.

A former guild receptionist and a close friend of Reina.

She got married early and opened the cafe of her dreams.

~ Adventurer's Guild

Reina

A receptionist at the Adventurer's Guild.

Because she handles her duties with an unchanging, cool demeanor, many adventurers call her the "Ice Woman."

She took a liking to Erik after watching his conduct, and personally selects requests that suit him well.

Ryan

The Guildmaster of the Adventurer's Guild.

After learning that Reina took an interest in Erik, he grew curious and sought him out for a face-to-face meeting.

He taught Erik Swordsmanship and Physical Enhancement, and introduced him to Olivia.

He is married; his wife has forbidden him from drinking in town, but he still sneaks out for a drink on occasion.

~ Adventurers

Cain

A Gold Rank adventurer.

He and Erik crossed paths through a household chore request.

He accepted the emergency request Erik posted to save his home village.

He gave Erik a monster-detecting magic tool as an added reward.

Alan

A beginner adventurer.

He has only registered at the guild and has undertaken almost no requests.

He is currently undergoing training under Roan, and is not allowed to leave the city until he passes.

Philia

A beginner adventurer.

A young girl who trained under Roan alongside Alan.

After meeting Erik, she asked him to team up with her, and the two formed a temporary party.

Their shared outlook on things was another major reason they partnered up.

She is a wielder of fire magic and water magic.

While she dislikes studying, she genuinely enjoys training.

Through working together and building mutual trust, they went on to form an official adventuring party.

Olivia von Rachia

A Platinum Rank adventurer.

Originally a commoner, she rose to nobility through her distinguished achievements.

She possesses immense strength as a mage.

She spent time at the Fledgling Pavilion in the past and formerly taught at the academy.

She is an exceptional instructor and continues to foster Erik's growth.

~ Nobility

Belinda von Fortis

The wife of the head of House Fortis.

A tea party friend of Marina, through whom she first heard about Erik.

She posted a cleaning request as an excuse to meet him in person.

Dilm von Dilligen

The younger brother of Marquis Dilligen.

He currently works at the royal castle, where his dedicated service has earned him the King's trust.

Roan von Strict

The next head of the House of Strict.

Originally a soldier of the kingdom, he rose to nobility after rescuing the Strict family from a bandit ambush.

His heroic feat was even adapted into a story performed on stage in theaters.

He is Alan's biological older brother.

~ Others

Marcus

The head butler of the Fortis household.

After witnessing Erik's cleaning techniques, he was so impressed by their sheer perfection that he wished to learn from the boy.

Henry

The successor to the village chief.

Twenty years old.

He reunited with Erik when he traveled to the royal capital to report that a red wyvern had appeared near their home village.
