On the Day of Dia, May 2, Year 2026 of the Dragon King Calendar.
During the Magias Magic Academy rookie tournament, a large-scale attack on the Magias grounds was carried out by Wilhelm Braham, a former student of the Imperial Archmage Faculty.
The assault commenced during the opening match of the tournament's first round and concluded thirty-five minutes later when Magias personnel subdued the mastermind, Wilhelm.
This incident is hereafter designated as the "Magias Rookie Tournament Attack Incident." The details from its onset to its resolution, along with all facts established to date, are documented below.
II. Progression and Resolution of the Incident
In this incident, the perpetrator illicitly seized control of the Guardian Barrier, an official Magias spell formula, while simultaneously executing a plan of mass destruction by detonating the Central Tower and deploying a large number of military magic beasts.
As a consequence, the defensive mechanisms across the Magias grounds were temporarily neutralized.
Furthermore, mana control interference was inflicted upon high-output mages—principally the faculty, security personnel, and upperclassmen of Magias—rendering the transmission of commands across various sectors virtually impossible.
Initially, evacuation guidance and interception efforts were mired in extreme chaos. However, the situation improved considerably due to the ad hoc response units, centered around the first-year students of the Imperial Archmage Faculty, operating effectively in multiple sectors.
In particular, the evacuation efforts conducted via wide-area telepathy, the emergency restoration of the Guardian Barrier's core formula, the rapid structural repairs to the Central Tower, and the tracking and neutralization support against hostile entities were of an exceptional standard for first-year students. It can be stated with certainty that these actions far exceeded the scope of duties normally expected of students.
Ultimately, Wilhelm Braham was subdued by Brendan Walker, placed under sealing restraint by Instructor Blanchard, and transferred into the custody of the Kingdom Military Police.
III. Perpetrator Details and Current Status
Subject: Wilhelm Braham.
Former student of the Magias Magic Academy Imperial Archmage Faculty, majoring in barrier magicology. Magic coefficient upon admission: 120 points (precision diagnosis).
In the past, he took part in maintenance and inspection work on the Guardian Barrier and was known to possess advanced knowledge and skill in the field.
Presently, the subject has been transferred under sealing restraint by the Kingdom Military Police to a special containment facility. Interrogations remain ongoing.
Furthermore, the Braham family completely denies any involvement in the incident.
IV. Detonation of the Central Tower and Illicit Seizure of the Guardian Barrier
Regarding the detonation of the Central Tower, current investigations have revealed that combustible mana fuel had been laid out within certain disused, obsolete pipelines.
These pipelines were located in a sector no longer utilized in the current operation of the Central Tower, making them prone to being overlooked during standard inspections.

No fatalities have been confirmed in this incident.

Most of the lightly injured received treatment at affiliated medical institutions in the royal capital or the Magias medical ward before being discharged.
Key factors contributing to the complete absence of fatalities include the swift execution of wide-area evacuation guidance during the initial phase, the interception mounted by faculty and security personnel, and the coordinated emergency responses carried out by the first-years of the Imperial Archmage Faculty.
VII. Status of the Principal Culprit's Deposition
Wilhelm Braham is currently detained at the Kingdom Military Police Special Containment Facility.
Under standard interrogation, he has repeatedly resorted to silence, self-justification, or provocative retorts; at present, actionable testimony remains limited.

VIII. Summary
This incident has exposed critical vulnerabilities in the defensive framework of Magias Magic Academy and the security protocols of public events.
Conversely, because the emergency measures spearheaded by the first-year students of the Imperial Archmage Faculty functioned effectively amidst the immediate chaos, the collapse of the Central Tower, the total loss of the Guardian Barrier, and massive civilian casualties were successfully averted.
Moving forward, comprehensive inspections of the Guardian Barrier, re-examinations of disused facility sectors, re-audits of access privileges for withdrawn and expelled students, and investigations into the black-market distribution of military magic beasts will proceed.
IX. Supplementary Matters
Regarding the analysis of residual traces from the teleportation gate formulas:
There is an extremely high probability that the formula in question is an extended function of the Infinite Multiplication Great Dragon Vein, "Online," which has been lost for many years.
Furthermore, no traces of Irvion being used in this incident have been confirmed at present.
