Viscera splattered across the floor, chunks of flesh clung to the walls, and blood sprayed everywhere like bright crimson paint. The grand mansion's interior overflowed with death.
Seated in a chair at the center of the living room, a sharp-eyed man in a white suit and hat snapped his book shut.
"Sugar is dead."
He made the declaration bluntly.
"Whoa, Captain, you for real?" asked a tall, handsome youth wearing a turban, his eyes wide.
"Yeah. Sugar's presence has vanished from this world. There's no mistaking it," the man in the white suit asserted in a flat, emotionless voice.
"Then does that mean there's someone on this continent actually capable of killing him?"
"There is no other explanation."
The man in the white suit stood, his gaze sweeping across the six men and women relaxing amidst the gruesome carnage of the room.
"Our next job has been decided. We go to kill."
He issued the directive in an even tone.
"Hold on, what about the job we're on right now? Ain't it half-done? That fine with you?"
"We'll kill the client along with the rest right now, so it doesn't matter."
"A total massacre, huh? Nice! Now that's what I'm talking about!"
Letting out a cheer of delight, the tall, turban-clad youth rose from his chair as well.
"Defeat is unforgivable for Kyou. Even if it happens in an uncivilized land like this."
The man in the white suit bit out the words, pausing for a brief moment. And then—
"You have my permission. Wipe them out—every last one of them!"
Raising his voice so it echoed throughout the mansion, he began walking toward the exit.
Accompanied by beastly roars, the deadliest combat force, Kyou, began to move.
