A few days had passed since I gained the ability to run loops through the Floor 8 Monster Room.
May 6th.
Today was Hinata-san's day off, making it a solo grinding day for me.
As a result, I spent the day running my usual loops through the Floor 7 Monster Room in the Shinjuku Dungeon.
However, since I had accumulated a decent stock of Regenerate Potions dropped by Knight Leaders, it might be about time to try looping Floor 8 on my own.
Naturally, I couldn't use Seeker or Asceticism, so the efficiency wouldn't come close to when Hinata-san was supporting me, but I felt confident I could manage the clearing process itself by now.
Mulling over those thoughts, I returned home from the dungeon, took a bath, and settled down in my room. As I idly started browsing ZX on my smartphone to kill time, my eyes caught a particular piece of news.

I was struck with shock.
Digging further into the details, it turned out the Metasla had manifested in the Minato Ward Dungeon yesterday. Although subjugation requests had been issued to numerous Special Crisis Case Explorers today, it had yet to be defeated.
What an utter disaster...!!
Had my news radar dulled just because my recent days consisted solely of shuttling back and forth between the dungeon and my apartment...?!
To think I failed to notice such vital information... I feel sincere regret!!
Fortunately, my Metasla-kun was still alive and well. In that case, there was only one thing left for me to do.
