"Done."
About three hours later, Jin and Elsa completed the merry-go-round.
The rotation speed and the sound were, in Jin’s estimation, a decent success.
"Wow, what a lovely sound."
The merry-go-round spun around and around, emitting a rhythmic tinkle-clink, tinkle-clink that was mesmerizing to watch.
Jin had used plenty of bright, primary colors to make it appealing for infants.
"Alright, let's mass-produce these and hand them out as birth gifts in Kaina Village, too."
"Mm, I think that's a good idea."
Working together, they crafted twenty more merry-go-rounds.
"Alright, shall we go deliver these to the houses with babies?"
As soon as Jin suggested it, Hanna volunteered to handle the task.
"I'll deliver them for you! You and Big Sister Elsa can take a break, Onii-chan."
"Oh, really?...In that case, Reiko, could you go with her to help carry the load?"
"Yes, I understand. Hanna-chan, let us go."
"Okay!"
There were currently seven households in the village with newborns. Reiko carried six of the merry-go-rounds while Hanna carried one, and the two of them set off.

Once they were alone, Jin thought of another gift.
"In addition to that, I think we should give a silver spoon to Reinhard’s family as well."
"?"
The silver spoon Jin mentioned was based on a saying from modern Earth: "A child born with a silver spoon in their mouth will be happy."
Furthermore, silver had a long history of being treated as sacred, believed to possess the power to ward off evil.
As Jin explained this to Elsa, she suddenly became very enthusiastic.
"That’s wonderful. Please, let me be the one to make it."
"Sure, I don't mind. I'll leave it to you, then."
"Mm, leave it to me."
When it came to design and aesthetics, Jin trusted Elsa implicitly.
Jin prepared an alloy consisting of 92.5 percent silver and 7.5 percent copper—925 silver, also known as sterling silver.
Elsa set to work processing the metal.
"Forming."
The lump of silver glowed faintly for a moment, shifting its shape under her magic.
Before long, a spoon took form.
"Oh, that looks great."
It featured a soft, rounded design, and the crest of House Randol was engraved elegantly on the handle.
"It can also be used for feeding her once she starts on solid foods."
Since some people preferred to keep such items as mementos while others put them to use, they decided a functional design was best.
"Let's put this in a nice box and deliver it. Let's see, the time is..."
In Kaina Village, it was 11:30 AM. Since there was roughly a three-hour time difference, it should be around 8:30 AM in Kalts Village.
"The timing seems fine, so I'll head over now."
"Wait. I'm going too. But we should wait until Hanna-chan and Reiko-chan get back..."
"Ah, right."
Jin fully agreed with Elsa's suggestion.
"We're home, Onii-chan, Onee-chan!"
"I have returned."
About ten minutes later, Hanna and Reiko arrived back.
"Welcome back. Well then, we’re going to head over to Reinhard's place for a bit to deliver the gifts."
"Okay! Have a safe trip, Onii-chan!"
"Yes, I shall accompany you."
Hanna and Reiko gave their respective replies.
And so, seen off by Hanna, Jin and Elsa traveled to Rankenhaus in Kalts Village, the heart of Reinhard's territory.

"Hey, Jin, Elsa! Good of you to come!"
An exuberant Reinhard came out to greet the pair.
"Elsa, thanks to you, Berche is already able to get out of bed."
"I see. That’s good."
Though Berche's body had been restored to health through Elsa's Healing magic, Reinhard, ever the devoted husband, had insisted she stay in bed just to be safe.
"And we've decided on a name! Would you like to hear it?"
"Yeah, of course....And it is?"
"Juliana. Juliana Randol."
"Juliana, huh? That's a lovely name."
"Mm, Yuri-chan. It's cute."
"Isn't it? I thought so too!"
Reinhard was in an excellent mood.
"So, here. This is a gift from us."
Jin first presented the merry-go-round.
"What's this?"
It was a natural question.
"You hang it from the ceiling, and then..."
Jin hung the merry-go-round in a suitable spot and demonstrated how it worked.
A rhythmic and lighthearted tinkle-clink, tinkle-clink rang out as it spun.
"Oh, how interesting!"
"It's a toy for soothing babies."
"I see! So your world had things like this, Jin! Thank you, Jin, Elsa!"
In the meantime, Elsa was adding an extra engraving of the name 'Juliana' to the spoon.
Then, she presented it.
"Rai-nii, this is from us as well."
She handed over the gift, which had been neatly repackaged.
"Oh, thank you!...And this is?"
"A silver spoon. In the world Jin-nii came from..."
She went on to explain the folklore behind it.
"I see, is that so! Thank you, Jin, Elsa!...Ah, forgive me, please come meet Bell and Yuri!"
Reinhard then led Jin and Elsa to one of the rooms in the Mansion.
"Ah, welcome, Jin-sama, Elsa-san."
"Hey, Berche."
Berche had already left her bed and was in the middle of soothing the infant... Juliana.
Juliana was lying in a canopy bed, currently wide awake.
"Bell, look what I got from Jin and the others."
"My, what is it?"
"It's called a merry-go-round. You use it like this..."
Reinhard immediately attached the toy to the canopy and gave a simple command.
"Move."
With that, the merry-go-round began to spin slowly, filling the air with a light, melodic chiming.
"Oh my!"
Berche’s eyes went wide with wonder.
Juliana began to frolic and coo happily at the sight and sound.
"Oh, she seems to love it."
"I don't think her eyes can focus clearly yet, but she can certainly hear the sound."
Watching the cheerful Juliana, a smile naturally spread across Jin's face.
Beside him, Elsa wore the same expression.
Reinhard and Berche also gazed at the fruit of their love, smiling with pure, radiant happiness.
It went without saying that Berche was also delighted by the silver spoon engraved with her daughter's name once she heard the story of its origin.
