I am Yuusaku Sakaishi. Thank you very much for picking up this book.
I have always been quite poor at managing page counts, which resulted in the space for this afterword being rather cramped. I’ve made a habit of doing that in my other works as well. My sincerest apologies...
This work, Gifted Girl’s Caretaking, was a romantic comedy set in a school where the children of the wealthy gathered. To those of you who like romantic comedies, or perhaps those who find themselves drawn to young lady heroines, I truly hope you enjoyed it. These heroines were rich, gorgeous, elegant, and noble—and yet, for those very reasons, they were often prone to various worries. I would be delighted if you could come to love them.
[Acknowledgments]
In the process of writing this work, I was greatly indebted to the editorial department, the proofreaders, and everyone else involved. Sakura Miwabe-sensei, thank you for creating such wonderful illustrations for this volume. You drew many different young ladies for me, and every one of them was distinct and incredibly charming.
Finally, to everyone who picked up this book, you have my deepest gratitude.
