December 24th
Today, I had a Christmas party together with Big Brother, Sara Onee-chan, Mama, Sakura-chan, Yuki-chan, Grandma, and Big Brother's friends.
In the shrine garden, there was a big Christmas tree covered in lots of Twinkling Stars, and there was a Snowman-san too, which really surprised Mio.
The inside of the house was all twinkling and pretty. The food and cake Sara Onee-chan made were so yummy, and Big Brother gave Mio lots of "aa-hns." Keeping the fact that her food was a little yummier than Mama’s a secret was something just between Big Brother and Mio.
Playing House was fun, too. Sara Onee-chan played the mama, but Mio decided she’d rather be a big sister than a mama after all. So, Mio decided she would pray to God that Sara Onee-chan could become a mama soon.

Mio loved Big Brother very, very, very, very, very much.
When Mio was scared and cried, or when Mama said I couldn't have a Christmas party, Big Brother saved Mio right away. He always hugged Mio and told her everything was okay, and he gave her "there, there" pats.
Big Brother was so cool and kind. He was Mio's Prince. He was my Big Brother, but he was also like a papa, so Mio was okay even without a real papa because Big Brother was there.
Actually, Mio told her teacher that I wanted to be Big Brother’s bride when I grew up, but they said Sara Onee-chan was going to be his bride. But Mio loved Sara Onee-chan too, so I knew I would be happy if Big Brother and Sara Onee-chan got married.
Besides, we made a promise that when Sara Onee-chan became a mama, Mio would play with the baby. Sara Onee-chan asked me, "Please be the Big Sister to the Baby," so Mio was going to be the baby's big sister.
Then Mio would be a big sister, Sara Onee-chan would be a mama, Mama would still be Mama, and Big Brother would be Mio’s Big Brother and Papa!!
Ooh, I hoped she became Sara Onee-chan Mama soon.
I decided I would pray to God again tomorrow that a baby would come soon.
