"Yugo’s in his room today, isn't he? Since Fee-kun is undergoing tests, he can't go visit him, right?"
"That seems to be the case. Well, he needs a change of pace. There’s no harm in him taking a break from worrying about Fee and relaxing for at least one day."
"That’s easier said than done, though. That’s why he’s been looking so gloomy all week..."
Melt, Marcos, and Anhel carried on their conversation as they headed toward Yugo’s location.
Ever since Fee was injured, Yugo had remained in a deep state of depression. While they were worried about him, the three of them hadn't been able to make any major moves, fearing they might hurt him further by intruding on such a delicate matter.
However, today marked exactly one week since Fee had been hospitalized. His condition was stable, and the trio felt it was finally time to give Yugo the push he needed to get back on his feet.
With that in mind, they had teamed up to invite him out for some fun and were currently on their way to Yugo’s Room.
"Let’s invite Ryuga too if he's around. In one way or another, it seems like he’s been pretty down as well."
"He is likely concerned for his younger sister, Yui. It would probably be best to invite both of them."
"Honestly, Egos really went and caused a lot of unnecessary trouble... Hmm?"
As they chatted while walking toward the Fifth Dormitory, the three of them noticed two familiar girls at the entrance and stopped in their tracks.
Melt and the others walked up to them and called out.
"Claire? And Utsusemi-san... right? Hello."
"Melt-sama! And Lord Marcos and Anhel-sama as well!"
"That’s a rare pair to see together. What brings you to a place like this?"
"Ah, er, well..."
Standing before the Fifth Dormitory were Yugo’s Former Fiancee, Claire, and one of the Warrior Shrine Maidens, Raiha.
Anhel had bluntly asked the question that was on everyone’s mind, and Claire stepped in to answer for the visibly flustered Raiha.
"Actually, it seems Raiha-sama wished to meet with Yugo-sama and was looking for the location of the Fifth Dormitory. I happened to be passing by and offered to show her the way."
"To meet Yugo...?! W-W-Why? Don't tell me you're interested in Yugo too, just like that Setsuna girl?!"
"N-No! You've got it all wrong! To be precise, I came to look for Setsuna-chan. I assume she’s already gone to see Yugo-san!"
Raiha hurriedly added more information as Melt pressed her for details.
Melt breathed a sigh of relief for a brief moment... but then she processed a very concerning part of that sentence and snapped her head up.
"She’s already there? Setsuna is with Yugo?"
"Ah, yes. Lately, the Hero Candidates have been following us everywhere... She said she intended to ask him to shelter her for a bit while they fulfilled a promise they made."
"Nooo! S-She beat me to it! No, not yet! I can still make it!!"
"Ah! Hey, Melt!?"
The moment she heard Raiha say that Setsuna was visiting Yugo, Melt dashed off as if she couldn't stand to wait another second.
Caught off guard by her sudden sprint, the others were left behind. Melt arrived at Yugo’s Room alone, and after sensing someone inside, she pressed her ear against the door to listen...
"Hehehe...! Well? You like this sort of thing, don't you?"
"Huh? Ah, well, yeah..."
"No need to be so tense. You can take a closer look if you want. I’ll even let you touch it a little."
"...!?"
Melt gasped softly as she overheard the suggestive conversation coming from inside.
As she reeled from the context—looking closer, being allowed to touch—her imagination began to run wild. Inside, Yugo and Setsuna seemed to be moving forward with whatever they were doing.
"I see... This is certainly quite something!!"
"Fufu, I'm glad you like it. But having you stare at it from this close is a bit embarrassing after all."
"E-Embarrassing?! Quite something?!"
Melt couldn't be sure exactly what was happening inside, but her head was filled with the most scandalous delusions.
Just as Marcos and the others finally caught up to her, Melt, trembling with rage, let out a loud scream and kicked the door she had been eavesdropping on with all her might.
"Yugo! How could you do this with another woman when you have me?! You traito—!?"
Melt burst into the room in a half-sobbing state... but when she saw the scene before her, she froze, her eyes wide with shock.
Yugo and Setsuna were indeed facing each other at close range, but they didn't look like they were doing anything improper. If anything, the only strange thing about the scene was that Setsuna was wearing a Shrine Maiden Outfit instead of her school uniform.
"Melt? What the hell are you doing?!"
"Eh? No, well... What are you doing, Yugo?"
Realizing she had completely misunderstood the situation, Melt threw the question back at Yugo as he stared at her in confusion for breaking down his door.
Though bewildered, Yugo didn't get angry. He simply answered her question with a puzzled expression.
"What am I doing? Setsuna asked me to, so I was just giving her my opinion on this Shrine Maiden Attire."
