—Comments from M.P., who secretly shadowed Yugo.
...Yes. I witnessed every single detail of the battle between Master Yugo and Jima.
However, I have my doubts as to whether that could even be called a "battle." To be blunt, it was far too one-sided.
If I had to describe it accurately... it was a unilateral slaughter, or perhaps the execution of a sentence upon a villain?
The two faced off at the training grounds, and the moment the fight began, they charged at each other.
Up to that point, it barely fell within the definition of a battle. Eh? What happened next, you ask?
As I said, it became a completely one-sided affair.
Master Yugo countered and punched Jima away as he charged with his sword, then immediately followed up with a relentless rush of punches.
The strikes were angled diagonally upward... yes, he kept hitting him in a way that kept the man's body suspended in mid-air.
Goodness, I was astonished. I had no idea a human body could float so gracefully.
It wasn't that he was being blown away by a single punch; he was being struck with such high-speed precision that his feet simply couldn't touch the ground. I take pride in my own punching speed, but Master Yugo’s dual-arm rush was truly magnificent, as expected of a master.
After that... well, you know how master pizza chefs toss and spin dough in the air to stretch it?
It was like that. That's what started. He grabbed his opponent by the shoulders and knees, hoisted him up, and began spinning him around before tossing him away.
He was shouting things like "Blaster Hurricane!" and "Thank the gods there aren't any beam attacks!" and "This isn't Nichiasa!"
I didn't quite understand what he meant, but Master Yugo seemed relatively calm, which was a relief to me.
Because he was so composed, he didn't slam him into the dirt; after tossing him around a few times, he eventually let Jima down gently.
I imagine he intended to break the man's fighting spirit and make him reflect on his actions.
What I didn't expect was that Jima still showed some fight—or rather, he couldn't let go of his pride.
I don't know if he realized Master Yugo was holding back, but judging by the way he was screaming things like "I'll [censored] your brother and those girls' [censored]!" I think he had either grown desperate or been driven mad by the humiliation.
Seeing that, Master Yugo decided to deliver the finishing blow.
He landed a counter kick on the lunging Jima... oh, he didn't kick him away. He pivoted his body and drove his right leg deep into the man's abdomen.
Then, as Jima doubled over in agony, Master Yugo blasted a mass of Magic Power from the Magic Crystal on his right leg to pin him down and immobilize him.
My, I am always amazed by Master Yugo's ingenuity; I never would have thought it could be used like that.
Ah, the rest isn't particularly interesting. Master Yugo ended the fight by delivering a Dropkick to the paralyzed Jima.
Afterward, Master Yugo grumbled to himself as he carried the unconscious Jima to the infirmary.
Once we returned to the dorm, not only Marcos and the others, but every single Fifth Dormitory Student who had served as Jima's Minions was trembling in fear.
It was quite the sight. I learned a great deal about the look on people's faces when a regime changes—or rather, when the person at the top of their organization is replaced. It was very educational.
In any case, I'm glad I was able to reaffirm Master's strength. I'd say it was a very fruitful bit of eavesdropping.
"Hey, did you hear? About that Yugo guy..."
"I know! He finally crawled out of the courtyard and moved into the Fifth Dormitory, right?! And then, I heard he immediately beat up a student he didn't like just so he could seat himself at the top of the dorm! How terrifying!"
The day after the incident, a group of girls were busy exchanging the rumors they had heard.
While the information wasn't entirely wrong, it wasn't exactly right either, yet it had already spread throughout the academy.
"Causing such a scene the moment he moves in... he really is just a scum delinquent. They should have just left him to sleep outside!"
"But with the Exchange Students coming, they couldn't exactly have a student living in the Courtyard. Yugo probably realized that and is doing whatever he wants, knowing they won't kick him out."
"How scary! I even heard a story that he had girls in his room yesterday for some wild party. He's truly doing whatever he pleases!"
"That country girl Melt was apparently toyed with by him, too. It’s pitiful, but if she has to be the sacrifice to keep him away from us, so be it."
"You're right. Let's just live our Academy Life quietly so Yugo doesn't notice us. We're in different years anyway, so we'll likely never even cross paths."
The female students continued to insult Yugo and his companions as they pleased.
As their conversation began to wind down, one of them voiced a final question.
"So, what do you think Yugo is doing right now? Is he working the Fifth Dormitory Students to the bone and bullying them?"
"Who cares? The students there aren't even nobles, and I always hated Jima for acting like the King of the Hill anyway. They might be being treated like Slaves, but I have no interest in them."
After offering a fleeting moment of pity for the Fifth Dormitory Students now under Yugo's rule, the girls wiped the thought from their minds.
Similar conversations were taking place all over Luminous Academy; Yugo and the students of the Fifth Dormitory were the talk of the school—for all the wrong reasons.
Now, as for what they were actually doing at that moment...?
