Yugo’s Overwhelming Rage

"What kind of 'strongest magic item' is this supposed to be?! It’s a piece of crap! You can’t even move once you put it on! Who the hell hyped up this piece of garbage?! Was it you?! Or was it you?!"

"B-but Jima-san, you were the one who suggested it! W-we didn't really—ack!"

"Shut up! Everything is the fault of that useless pile of junk...! I only lost to Hex because I used that garbage! If it were a real magic item, I never would have fought so pathetically! It’s all that trash’s fault!!"

Jima continued to rave, blaming everyone and everything else for a failure that was entirely due to his own sloppy planning and lack of foresight.

As the self-appointed king of the Fifth Dormitory, he had likely never been called out for such behavior before. That was the only reason such foolishness had been tolerated for so long.

But now, his idiotic mouth had just stepped on a massive landmine belonging to a man who would never forgive him.

"Yu-Yuyuyuyu, Yugo? Y-your face is... kind of scary?"

"B-Brother, please! Please, just calm down...!! I’m begging you, stay rational...!!"

Jima remained oblivious to the fact that, right beside his ranting self, a man was standing with a literal inferno of rage rising within him.

Yugo’s companions watched as his aura of anger steadily intensified, trembling in sheer terror at the sight.

At a glance, Yugo appeared to be smiling.

However, his eyes were void of any warmth. With his teeth bared, his expression was nothing short of horrific.

So, people really do smile when they’re truly furious... Watching his older brother’s rage flare to life, young Fee learned a lesson he would never forget.

While Fee, Melt, Marcos, and even the usually easygoing Presia froze—instinctively sensing the impending disaster—Yugo slowly turned. Wearing that same wrathful smile, he began to walk toward Jima, one deliberate step at a time.

"You just said my Blaster was garbage, didn't you?"

"Hah...?"

By the time Jima finally noticed the killing intent, it was far too late.

As Jima stood paralyzed, much like Fee and the others, Avad and the rest of the minions saw the fury in Yugo’s eyes and scrambled to the sides, clearing a path.

Slowly, ever so slowly, Yugo walked down that corridor toward Jima. When he spoke, his voice was quiet, yet it simmered with a boiling, lethal indignation.

"My Blaster... the one that bloomed its Super Transformation after receiving magic power from Melt and Marcos... the one embedded with the magic crystal Skull gave me as a sign of our brotherhood... the one Ann desperately upgrades and maintains for me... the one that is the very crystallization of my bonds with my friends... and the Blaster that my precious, wonderful little brother gave to me as a gift... You just called it trash, didn't you? You dared to call it a shitty, useless magic item?"

The Blaster was, undeniably, an outdated magic item. That was a reality Yugo himself had to accept.

However, since his reincarnation into this world, he had fought countless battles with it. It had grown stronger alongside him through his bonds with his comrades. He could never, not even in death, forgive someone for mocking the treasure given to him by his beloved Fee.

"W-w-well, what's wrong about that?! Your magic item is garbage!!"

"Wh—?! Is he a moron?! Is that man a suicidal idiot?!"

"I see, I see. So I didn't mishear you. You just looked me in the eye and called the Blaster—the one filled with the feelings of my brother and my friends—a piece of garbage. That’s what you’re going with, then?"

If he had simply apologized, things might have ended differently. But Jima, driven by a petty pride that refused to let him lose face in front of an underclassman, chose to double down. His fate was sealed then and there.

As everyone present cringed in terror, Yugo spoke in a terrifyingly low register, his face twisted into a ghastly grin.

"I take it you have a death wish... I’ll be happy to grant it!!"

"H-Hold him back... somebody restrain Yugo! Now!!"

Recognizing that Yugo genuinely intended to commit murder, Marcos shouted and lunged at him, joined by Hex and Hao.

The three of them tried to pin Yugo down, but even against their combined strength, he didn't budge. He possessed a level of physical power that was utterly abnormal.

"Yugo, settle down! Keep your head!"

"Don't worry, Marcos...! I'm perfectly calm. I won't kill him...!"

"Really? You promise?!"

"Yeah. I’ll settle for a 91.3% kill."

"How is that calm?! That’s basically the same as killing him!"

"Wait, isn't that just a fancy way of saying you're going to put him through a living hell?!"

"C-Calm down, Yugo! Fee! Fee is watching right here!"

"Let's go eat something delicious! You're just cranky because you're hungry!"

"D-Deep breaths! Just breathe for a second! We'll do something to help you relax! Ah! D-do you want to rub my breasts!?"

"Personally, I think Master’s anger is entirely justified. I believe a thorough beating is exactly what this man needs."

"Don't encourage him, Misery! Don't say such unnecessary things!!"

Hex and Hao shouted their retorts at Yugo's disturbing claim of being "calm."

His companions continued to plead with him—with one notable exception—to regain his senses, but Yugo's resolve was absolute.

"Jima...! I’m going to beat that rotten personality of yours into something resembling a human being...!"

"H-Hahaha! W-what are you talking about? Don't get ahead of yourself just because you're some punk first-year! I'll be the one turning the tables on you!"

"Ah, he’s finished... It’s over. He's dead..."

A true fool is defined as one who cannot admit their own failures. By that definition, Jima was a masterpiece of stupidity.

As they watched Yugo’s retreating back as he headed for the training grounds with a demonic smile, his friends seemed to receive a mental "Notice of Jima's End" from the universe. They began to whisper among themselves.

"W-what do we do? Should we call a teacher to stop them?"

"No... if we do that, Yugo might end up brawling with the faculty. Better to wait until tomorrow to report everything that happened today."

"I hope Yugo-kun is going to be okay..."

"H-He'll be fine! Deep down, he’s a guy who knows where the line is...! But, well..."

"Jima, on the other hand... he's definitely a lost cause."

The group nodded in silent agreement with Anhel’s blunt assessment.

As Marcos and the others offered a silent prayer for the fool who had detonated Yugo’s landmine, Jima’s minions clutched each other in tears, shaking like leaves in a storm.
