Side: Isaac (The Story of a Man with Unmasked Desires)

If Isaac had to summarize his recent streak in a single phrase, it would be "at the top of his game."

Ever since he’d handed the demonic sword he’d swiped from the security force over to Neid to have it reshaped and replicated as his own personal weapon, he’d been on an unstoppable tear. He hadn't lost a single duel, spending his days racking up victory after victory.

The materials he’d plundered in the process were piled high. Handing them over to Neid boosted the craftsman’s affection level while simultaneously leading to his own strengthening. More than anything, he couldn't get enough of the sight of other students stumbling around, unable to upgrade their equipment because he held the monopoly.

He had the power to do whatever he wanted, and everything he touched turned to gold. Isaac felt he was truly savoring his life as an otherworld reincarnator—a protagonist in a game world.

His rivals, the other reincarnators, had tried to complain, but he’d used duels to shut them up. He was, quite literally, a man without a single enemy left to stand against him. Not the people born into this world, not his fellow reincarnators, and not even the teachers could stop him now.

With weapons that matched his superior status and a level he’d pushed to the limit, Isaac believed from the bottom of his heart that he was the strongest being in this world. Without a doubt, he was the person closest to becoming a hero. The day when he, the strongest of all, would be worshipped as the world’s greatest achiever was close at hand.

The solitary hero, Isaac Area... Smirking at how perfect everything was, right down to his alias, he moved according to the whims of his surging desires.

He squeezed materials out of students, ambushed those who refused to duel him, and did whatever it took to get what he wanted. If someone were to ask if these actions were fitting for a hero, the answer would obviously be no. However, that awareness had completely slipped from his mind.

(I’ve racked up plenty of experience points and levels through all those duels. I’ve got a mountain of materials, and my equipment is as good as it gets for now. That means all that’s left is—)

He’d briefly wondered what to do when he failed to get the flame attribute magic crystal from the skeleton horse, but he’d recovered nicely. Praising himself as a natural, Isaac rejoiced in the fact that he’d ended up with weapons even stronger than his original plan. Now, he set out to claim the one thing he still lacked.

He already had the strongest weapon in the form of the demonic sword, and he’d used it to secure top-tier gear across the board. If there was anything else he needed, it would be companions—but Isaac, a firm believer in solo play, had no use for those.

However, even if he didn't need companions, he wanted a woman who would fall for him.

Not a lover—that was too clean. Not even a harem member—that was just a joke. What he wanted was someone he could treat however he pleased, someone whose very existence belonged to him. He wanted a slave.

Luminous Academy was teeming with beautiful girls. In fact, when it came to named characters, there was nothing but beautiful girls and stunning women. With his current power, he could do whatever he wanted with any of them. If he felt like it, he could make them all his.

...Granted, he couldn't lay a hand on characters he hadn't actually met yet due to the game’s timeline, but he pushed that thought aside. The important thing was that Isaac now had the power to treat the beautiful girls of this game however he saw fit.

The day he would finally graduate from being a virgin—a goal shared by all the other reincarnators—had finally arrived. He had the power to choose whoever he wanted, and no one could stop him.

When it came down to it, he actually had trouble choosing a partner. Being told he could have anyone made it harder to narrow it down.

Melt, the bright, athletic beauty with a great figure, was a strong contender. He also thought Anhel—the magic item engineer and companion character with even larger breasts—wasn't bad either. Earlier, Isaac had tried to satisfy his desires by taking both of them at once, provided Yugo accepted a duel with them as the stakes... but unfortunately, the guy had turned him down.

If he really wanted to, he could have found a way to drag Yugo onto the dueling field, but Isaac wasn't that obsessed. He’d realized there was another woman who was even more attractive than Melt or Anhel... or rather, someone who would be much more "interesting" to break.

The time was noon. Immediately after Yugo had refused his duel, Isaac visited a certain individual.

Humming a tune in high spirits, he knocked on the door to the room and called out loudly to the person inside.

"Ze~non-kun, let’s pla~y!"

His voice was bright and cheerful, but the words were dripping with malice. Several seconds of silence followed.

There was no response, but Isaac didn't mind. He was fully prepared to keep going until he got a reaction. Just as he was about to knock again, the door creaked open. It wasn't the master of the room who appeared, but a beautiful blonde girl.

"Um, I am very sorry. It seems Zenon-sama does not wish to see anyone right now..."

"Oh, really? Then since I'm already here, why don't you come on a date with me instead? Hanging around a guy who’s shut himself in his room will just ruin your mood, right? So come on, let’s go have some fun!"

"Eh? No, um, I..."

Without letting her get a word in, Isaac made his forceful offer. He grabbed the girl—Claire—by the arm and yanked her toward him, trying to drag her out of the room.

As she stood there in startled confusion, another hand reached out from the darkness of the room. It grabbed Claire's other arm, stopping Isaac's advance at the very last second.

"...What are you doing? Claire is... mine...!!"

"Oh, so you can come out after all. You should’ve done that from the start instead of making me waste my time."

Isaac spat the words at Zenon. The master of the room looked like a ghost, his expression lifeless, yet his eyes were fixed on Isaac with pure killing intent.

Unfazed, Isaac looked the dropout in the eye and made his declaration.

"Zenon, come play with me! Let’s have ourselves a nice, fun duel!"
