Bipolar God Tiana Part 6

It was a beautiful, clear day—the day the Bipolar God was scheduled to visit from her otherworld. We were meeting at the terrace seating in my backyard, right near the special space Canalis had constructed.

Speaking of Canalis, she was the one who relayed the Bipolar God’s request to meet outdoors. I still wasn't sure why there was a massive circular hole in the middle of her face when she told me, but I honored the request and chose the terrace.

Just as I felt the appointed time approaching, the air suddenly shifted. If I had to describe it, it felt as though I had plunged into water, yet there was no resistance to my movements, nor any crushing weight.

If I were forced to find the words, I’d say the air had taken on a sudden mass, as if its density had skyrocketed, though it didn't seem to have any negative effect on me personally.

Immediately after that sensation, a light flared within my line of sight, and a woman appeared—the one I assumed was the Bipolar God.

She wore a distinctive outfit that looked like a combination of a one-piece dress and trousers. It was similar to an Ao dai, yet different—a beautiful garment that balanced the elegance of a folk costume with the practicality of activewear. Her long, pale pink hair was tied into several small bundles, and at the tips were small ornaments that let out a clear, melodic chime like tiny bells.

The Bipolar God opened and closed her hands, shifting her weight slightly to check her body’s condition before turning toward me. As her transparent jade-colored eyes met mine, a bitter smile played across her lips, and the strange atmosphere that had permeated the area instantly vanished.

"...Ahaha. Sorry about that. If I don't adjust my scale perfectly, the sheer pressure of my existence would crush this space. I had to apply a bit of protection in advance. I hope I didn't startle you."

Watching her give that sheepish, bitter smile, I felt I understood what Canalis had been talking about. There was something about her—her expression, her aura... One look was all it took to think, "Ah, this is a good person." The very air she carried was fundamentally kind.

In terms of presence, she felt similar to Lilia-san or Kaori-san. At any rate, she seemed like a truly gentle soul.

"Let me introduce myself properly. You’ve likely heard the name from Canalis, but I am the World Creator known as the Bipolar God. I’d be happy if you’d call me Tiana. I’ve wanted to meet you for a very long time... I’m truly glad we finally could."

"It’s a pleasure to meet you. I’m Kaito Miyama, though I suspect you already knew that. I look forward to our time together."

"Likewise... Would you mind if we shook hands?"

"Oh, not at all."

After our introductions, Tiana-san happily took my hand. She really did have a wonderful, approachable aura; I felt like I could talk to her quite easily.

"I knew about you through my omniscience, but meeting you in person confirms it. I can feel what a gentle child you are, Kaito-sama. It makes me very happy."

"Ah, um... you don't really need to use 'sama' with me."

"Really? In that case, I’ll call you Kaito-kun. Please, feel free to address me casually as well."

"Then I’ll call you Tiana-san. Please, make yourself comfortable."

"Thank you. I’ll take you up on that."

I gestured toward the terrace chairs, and Tiana-san sat down with a soft smile. I took the seat opposite her.

"Would you like some black tea?"

Since I was hosting a god from another world, I hadn't been sure if it was appropriate to ask Illness-san to serve us, so I had prepared black tea and coffee in advance and kept them ready in my Magic Box.

Hearing my offer, Tiana-san smiled warmly.

"I appreciate the thought, but if you don't mind, would you let me provide the refreshments?"

"Eh?"

"I’m just echoing someone I respect, but she always said that those with great power have a greater capacity for leisure. Therefore, the one with power should be the one to show consideration in settings like this. It makes me incredibly happy that you want to host me, Kaito-kun. But if possible, I’d rather you just relax and act naturally around me... That sounds a bit pretentious, doesn't it? Truthfully, I have a personal motive. If you’re willing, I’d like to treat you to a drink from my world. I’ve already secured permission from Shallow Vernal to bring it here. I was really hoping you’d try it."

"A drink from your world? I’m definitely interested... If you’re offering, I’d love to try it."

It seemed she had brought a souvenir from her home world.

She was incredibly easy to talk to. She had a way of being playful—framing her consideration as a simple desire to share something she’d brought—so that I could accept her proposal without feeling burdened by her status. She really was a kind person, and I felt a wave of relief knowing our conversation would be a pleasant one.

Serious-senpai: "With an aura that mirrors Lilia and Kaori, Tiana seems to be exactly the type that Kaito takes a liking to right from the start... At this rate, is she going to become a regular visitor like Electrone?"
